| Abstract | A tightly limited summary for early-stage research or an authorised presentation of previously published findings. |
| Long paper | An acceptance category for work requiring a fuller account of the contribution and evidence. |
| Short paper | An acceptance category for a more concise contribution. |
| Oral presentation | A scheduled talk followed by questions from the audience. |
| Poster presentation | A visual presentation discussed with participants during a scheduled poster session. |
| Satellite event | A workshop, special session, tutorial, demonstration, panel, or Doctoral Consortium associated with the main conference. |
Frequently asked questions
What is PRIMORIS?
PRIMORIS is INSTICC’s online conference-management platform. Authors use it to create an account, submit and revise manuscripts, receive decisions, upload final files, and provide presentation materials.
Where should I submit?
All papers and abstracts must be submitted through the official PRIMORIS event link. Do not email a manuscript to an organiser unless the conference secretariat expressly requests it.
May a Programme Committee member submit a paper?
Programme Committee members may submit work, but they must not participate in the review or decision process for any paper where a conflict of interest exists.
May I decline an assigned review?
A reviewer should promptly decline when the manuscript falls materially outside their expertise, when a conflict of interest exists, or when they cannot complete a careful review by the deadline.
Must the initial paper identify the authors?
No. Full papers use double-blind review. Remove names, affiliations, biographies, acknowledgements, and other identifying information from the initial manuscript.
Can I use generative AI when preparing the manuscript?
Responsible assistance with language and drafting is permitted, but its use must be disclosed and verified. AI must not fabricate or manipulate research content. See the Generative AI Policy.
Which template should I use?
Use the official conference template for regular, position, workshop, and special-session papers. Doctoral Consortium papers use the dedicated Doctoral Consortium template. See Author Resources.
