BIOSTEC 2027
The five interdisciplinary research areas represented at BIOSTEC 2027.
BIOSTEC provides a shared scientific forum for theoretical advances, validated methods, clinical translation, and practical applications across biomedical engineering systems and technologies.
Medical electronics, wearable health technologies, biosensors, medical robotics, intelligent diagnostic devices, and human–machine interaction.
MRI, CT, ultrasound and other imaging modalities; image processing and reconstruction; medical AI; computer-aided diagnosis; and three-dimensional medical visualisation.
Biological data analysis, genomics, proteomics, computational biology, machine learning, and data-driven methods for precision medicine.
ECG and EEG analysis, physiological signal processing, neural engineering, pattern recognition, and intelligent biosignal interpretation.
Health-data management, electronic health records, healthcare AI, smart hospitals, clinical decision support, digital health, and intelligent care delivery.
The conference is designed for researchers and practitioners who use information systems, artificial intelligence, signal processing, electronics, and other engineering methods to address consequential problems in biology, medicine, and healthcare. Contributions should make their technical or scientific novelty explicit and explain the biomedical setting in which the work applies.
