At least one author must register in the presenter category for each accepted paper. This requirement also applies to student papers and poster presentations.

- Students attending without a paper may qualify for a substantial reduction from the standard non-presenter fee.
- Students from economically disadvantaged countries may qualify for preferential registration.
- The Best Student Paper Award recipient may receive a complimentary or discounted registration voucher for an INSTICC event, valid for 12 months and inclusive of conference materials.
