BIOSTEC is an international forum for researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, medical imaging, bioinformatics, biosignal processing, and health informatics. It brings together engineers, life scientists, healthcare professionals, computer scientists, and industry specialists to exchange rigorous research and advance technology-enabled healthcare.

The 2027 edition includes events in Valletta, Malta, from 19–21 February and in Nanjing, China, from 14–16 May. Participants may attend either venue or both. All presentations at the China venue must be delivered in person.
