Chen Jun

Chen Jun, MD, chief physician, master’s supervisor, currently serves as deputy director of the Pathology Department of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital, deputy director (in charge) of the hospital’s biobank, and director of the Nanjing Clinical Biobank Quality Control Center. He is good at combining clinical, imaging, genetic testing, etc. to complete difficult pathological diagnosis of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors, liver diseases, bone and soft tissue tumors, head and neck tumors, etc. As one of the authors, he participated in the writing of “Expert Consensus on Pathological Diagnosis of Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma (2022 Edition)”, “CSCO Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Biliary Malignant Tumors (2020-2024)”, and “Standardized Pathological Diagnosis Guidelines for Primary Liver Cancer (2015 Edition)”. Chen Jiu

Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital’s “High-level Talent Introduction”, Jiangsu Province’s “333 High-level Talents” training target, Nanjing City’s “Outstanding Youth Fund Project” winner, and the Ministry of Education’s Degree Center Review Expert. He is a member of the Medical Artificial Intelligence Professional Committee of the Chinese Hospital Association and a member of the Dementia Disease Branch of the China Association for the Promotion of International Healthcare Exchange. Hosted more than 10 projects at national natural science, provincial and ministerial levels. Currently engaged in neuroimaging, artificial intelligence, and personalized precision intervention for the AD disease spectrum (AD, MCI, SCD). Published more than 50 SCI papers as the first/corresponding author (including co-authors). He serves as deputy editor-in-chief of “Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease” and deputy editor-in-chief of one monograph. He has won the second prize of the 2023 “Science and Technology Jiangsu” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the first prize of Jiangsu Province New Technology Introduction in 2022, and more than 10 other awards.

Ge Zheng

Ge Zheng, doctor of medicine, chief physician, professor, doctoral supervisor, and postdoctoral co-supervisor. Currently, he is the director of the Hematology Department of Zhongda Hospital Affiliated to Southeast University, the director of the Institute of Hematology of Southeast University, the director of the International Collaborating Laboratory of Hematology, the director of the Collaborative Transformation Innovation Center for Precision Diagnosis and Treatment of Malignant Hematological Diseases of Jiangsu Research Hospital Association, and the director of the Leukemia and MDS Center of Nanjing Zhongda. Main research directions: medical-engineering integration of hematological malignancies, clinical transformation, artificial intelligence precision diagnosis and treatment, medical big data, etc. He has presided over 4 projects of the MMAAP Medical Fund of the United States, 4 general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 20 provincial key research and development projects, etc., and is a young and middle-aged leading talent of Jiangsu Province’s “333 High-level Talent Project” and a key medical talent of Jiangsu Province. Zhu Haidong

Zhu Haidong, MD, deputy chief physician, master’s tutor, deputy director of Interventional and Vascular Surgery, Zhongda Hospital Affiliated to Southeast University. Zhang Xiaoliang

Zhang Xiaoliang, chief physician, doctor of medicine and doctoral supervisor at Cardiff University in the UK, is currently the director of the Department of Nephrology, Zhongda Hospital Affiliated to Southeast University, and the deputy director of the Institute of Nephrology of Southeast University. Yuan Yonggui

Xie Jinbing

Xie Jinbing, professor and doctoral supervisor, was selected into the National High-level Talent Project “Torch Plan” and Nanjing Purple Mountain Talent Pioneer Plan Talent. He studied abroad in the Chemical Engineering Department of Wayne State University in the United States and the Nanomedicine Innovation Center in Japan. He has a multidisciplinary research background in life sciences, medical imaging, and biomedical engineering, and has long been engaged in research on multifunctional nanobiotechnology, molecular imaging, and disease treatment. In recent years, he has published more than 30 papers in internationally renowned journals such as Nature Nanotechnology, Chemical Society Reviews, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, Biomaterials, Theranostics, and Advanced Healthcare Materials. The research results have been highlighted and commented on by many media. He has received funding from the National High-level Talent Project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Youth Project, and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Special Researcher Award. He was invited to serve as a guest editor for the SCI magazines Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology and Molecules, and has long been a reviewer for many international academic journals such as Biomaterials, Theranostics, Chemical Engineering Journal, and Biotechnology Journal. Magen Mountain

Ma Genshan, male, doctor of medicine, second-level professor, chief physician, doctoral supervisor, director of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Zhongda Hospital Affiliated to Southeast University, and deputy director of the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases of Southeast University. He has been engaged in interventional cardiology since 1989. He studied in Australia and is good at the interventional diagnosis and treatment of various cardiovascular diseases. In particular, the interventional treatment technology of coronary heart disease enjoys a high reputation in China. Li Ling

Ju Shenghong

Ju Shenghong, Doctor of Medicine, is chief professor, chief physician and doctoral supervisor of Southeast University. He is currently the deputy dean of the School of Medicine of Southeast University and the director of the Imaging Department of the Affiliated Zhongda Hospital. Jiao Yun

Jiao Yun, a doctor of engineering jointly trained by Southeast University and the University of Pennsylvania, is the director of the Network Information Center of Zhongda Hospital Affiliated to Southeast University, associate professor of radiology, and master’s tutor. He has long been engaged in research in medical informatics and medical imaging. Main research directions: biomedical informatics, medical imaging and artificial intelligence. Currently, he has presided over one National Natural Science Foundation of China general project, one youth project, one Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation general project, and participated in the National Key Basic Research Program (973 Program) as an academic backbone. He has participated in several National Natural Science Foundation of China general and major research projects. He has won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2016 (ranked fifth), the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education in 2012 (ranked seventh), the second prize of Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Award in 2014 (ranked fourth), and the 2013 Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award. The third prize of Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Award (ranked fourth); won the “Young Medical Talents of Science, Education and Health Project” of Jiangsu Province (2017). He serves as a standing member of the Information and Application Security Protection Academic Committee of the Chinese Society for Health Information and Health Medical Big Data, a member of the CHIMA Youth Committee, and a member of the Physics and Engineering Group of the Magnetic Resonance Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Medical Radiology. He has published more than 30 SCI articles in total.

Gu Xiaochun

Gu Xiaochun, Ph.D., associate professor, researcher at Nanjing Translational Research Institute of Peking University (Jiangbei New District); Ph.D. of Southeast University, 2014 to 2016 He was a visiting scholar and postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in the United States. He mainly used advanced imaging technology and new phenotypic technologies to conduct research on neurovascular and neuromodulation. With an interdisciplinary research background, he independently built a multispectral imaging system for synchronized neurovascular imaging and discovered the new role of glial cells in neurovascular coupling, which is important for CR in regulating neurovascular development. He has conducted a series of studies on cell biology, produced a series of relevant genetically modified animal disease animal models, participated in the co-construction of the Nanjing Brain Observatory and co-initiated the “Mesoscopic Brain Functional Connection Atlas” large scientific project.
