Xu Jun gave a keynote speech titled Data-Driven and Knowledge-Driven Medical Image Computing for Disease Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prognosis. In a one-hour report, he systematically introduced the latest research results of the key laboratory in recent years in the fields of imaging and pathological image analysis, multi-modal physiological signal processing, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. He elaborated on the laboratory’s research and development in the face of multi-modal, cross-scale complex medical data, imaging and pathology image computing technology driven by data and knowledge, and extraction and analysis of disease-specific image phenotypes or “image biomarkers” from images and conventional pathology slices to improve the accuracy of disease detection and diagnosis.
