Professor Xu Jun, deputy dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence (College of Future Technology) and executive director of the Smart Medical Research Institute, first introduced the construction background, concepts, goals and research fields of the Smart Medical Research Institute to the students in detail. He introduced the broad development prospects of the Smart Medical Research Institute through industrial background, geographical location, faculty, development opportunities and trends, analyzed the many major challenges that humans still face in the health field, and pointed out the importance and potential clinical value of artificial intelligence technology in empowering the medical field. He encouraged students to actively think and work hard to cultivate their fields and directions of interest, and set their own goals for the future.
